Levi Johnston's Wonderful Pistachios commercial
Levi Johnston is the unfortunate young man who managed to impregnate Bristol Palin and then was nearly forced into a shotgun wedding, staring down both barrels of the Republican National Committee and the McCain-Palin campaign. He narrowly averted that fate and has now gone on to sponsor pistachios. As Yakov Smirnoff says, “What a country!” I never got around to buying a “Free Levi” t-shirt, so I figured the least I could do is give his video a spin here.

What? You think he was fortunate to get wrapped up in this? He was a nobody in Wasilla, AK, minding his own business. He happened to get his girlfriend pregnant. But in his case, that girl’s mom was plucked from obscurity for the most callous of political purposes. I say unfortunate is quite apropos. I also think he deserves his “nut” money, although if I have to suddenly see him on reality tv commercials, my feelings will soon change.
